FFC – AR Face Tracker
Phone | Tablet | Desktop
For the past eight years, I have meticulously developed a state-of-the-art Augmented Reality Face Tracking Application tailored for stadiums and colossal event screens, including jumbotrons called Filter Fan Cam or FFC for short. Harnessing the power of Unity and the High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP), this cutting-edge software transforms faces on a grand scale by adding dynamic filters and effects reminiscent of popular apps like Snapchat. Notably, the application has garnered an impressive clientele, boasting partnerships with prominent sports leagues including the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB. Over its life span, this innovation has generated over 8 million dollars in earnings for the company, underscoring its remarkable success and significance in the market.

Admin UI and UX
The AR Face Tracking application’s admin UI boasts a comprehensive suite of features designed to offer users granular control over its functionalities. Users can embellish visuals through “Camera FX and Particles” and select from a variety of “Custom Models.” The application enables “Randomization on faces” for diverse effects and includes a dedicated “Favorites Category” for frequently used features. It supports two camera drivers, ensuring versatile client configuration and input settings. Professionals can fine-tune the experience by controlling the “Frame Rate”, adjusting the “Number of Faces to Track”, and setting tracker sensitivity for distant faces. Furthermore, users can imprint “Client Watermarks” on each filter individually or collectively. There’s also provision to define a “Safe Zone” based on the dimensions of your display and for enhanced visuals, users can tweak “Animations and Particle Effects”. This robust platform is adaptable; it functions as a standalone app or can broadcast to multiple displays simultaneously.
Client List
For 8 years, the AR Face Tracking application has catered to a distinguished list of satisfied clients, including numerous notable entities. Many have committed to multi-year contracts, highlighting the application’s success and reliability. Traveling support is frequently offered to clients as needed, accompanied by comprehensive client service. The highest QA standards are maintained for all custom client models and filters, ensuring unmatched quality. Deliveries and deployments are consistently punctual, and depending on specific events or needs, the appropriate hardware is made available.

Custom Models
The AR Face Tracking application is home to an expansive library featuring over 1,000 meticulously crafted models, a collection curated over several years. While we showcase just a fraction of client-specific models here, each exemplifies our dedication to superior quality and optimization. Developed in-house and subject to rigorous quality assurance, our models are specifically designed for Unity HDRP. They boast a low polygon count, ensuring optimal runtime performance on stage. The application accommodates a versatile range of client models in 2D, 2.5D, and 3D formats. Beyond their intrinsic design, each model is enriched on stage with dynamic volumetrics and lighting, enhancing their presence and impact.
